Who We Are

We are a community interest company based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. We work to follow our passion for creating accessible and vibrant arts events and creative opportunities that disrupt and break down inequalities of access in local communities.

A female-led, grass roots community organisation, we focus on developing opportunities for young people, women, and minority and disadvantaged groups through bespoke learning experiences and the creative arts in line with our overarching ethos of ‘Creativity Connecting Community’.

Our Directors bring together diverse skills, qualifications and expertise in creative production, art education, coaching and mentoring, equality and diversity training, psychotherapy, counselling, business development, research, learning, recruitment and careers, project management, finance, IT, and event management.

What We Do

As well as cultivating arts engagement and creative opportunities we provide coaching and mentoring, consultancy, workshops, and training to help individuals or organisations to build their capacity, skills, and knowledge through our provision of professional expertise and best practices.

We are a registered Arts Award centre and currently offer children and young people the chance to complete Art Award at Discovery and Explore levels. Click here to find out more.

Our past projects have included:

Bright Bulb Books – inclusive and vibrant book events for children delivered with grant funding support from Staffordshire County Council’s Community Fund.

Brighter – a mentoring and development programme that helped women build confidence and increase their personal resilience delivered with grant funding support from the Tampon Tax fund.

We work hard to ensure the activities and experiences we offer have a truly positive impact on those taking part and to support the development of inclusive and socially active communities.
